BELLEVOYE NOIR is the 1st 100% French peated Triple Malt, a blend of the 3 best peated Single Malts in France (Nord, Alsace and Lorraine). In each of the selected distilleries, the whiskies are matured for 5 to 10 years in French oak barrels. Once blended, the final maturation lasts 9 to 12 months in new French oak barrels whose wood origin and grain quality are specific to Bellevoye Noir. The toasting of these barrels is a unique process perfected by the Bellevoye team.
BELLEVOYE NOIR reveals an old gold color with brilliant amber highlights. The nose is intense, revealing empyreumatic notes reminiscent of ash, toast and mocha. Subtle hints of spices such as cinnamon and clove, and licorice reinforce its complexity. Thick, mellow and oily on the palate. Its salinity gives it a fresh, harmonious balance. Its structure is coated with elegant tannins. The finish is long and persistent, with characteristic peat aromas.
