The Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré’s “Winter Time 2016” Christmas illuminations were inaugurated on November 17 in the presence of Elsa Zylberstein, Winter Time 2016 godmother, Benjamin Cymerman, President of the Comité, Jeanne d’Hauteserre, Mayor of the 8th arrondissement, Charlotte Bouvard, President and Founder of the Association, Olivia Polski, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of Commerce, Crafts, Professions and the Self-Employed, and Jean-François Martins, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of Sport and Tourism.
The kick-off, launched by Sandrine Quétier, took place at 7pm in front of the Baccarat boutique, which illuminates the prestigious rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris with 14 emblematic Baccarat chandeliers, in a veritable firework display of lights.
This year, the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré joined forces with SOS Préma, an association dedicated to helping parents of premature newborn babies in hospital.
The most glamorous of Winter Time Tombolas, organized by Le Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, thanks to the generosity of the Committee’s member Houses, is now online. All proceeds from the Winter Time 2016 Tombola will be donated to the SOS Préma association.
