The Westin Paris – Vendôme presents its “Chocolat-Thé” Yule Log

A gourmet creation by Executive Chef David Réal and his pastry team.

The Chef and his team treat us to a chic, uncluttered Yule Log.

banniere-bucheCreative and gourmet, “Chocolat-Thé” takes the taste buds on a journey with its bold mix of flavors and textures: a light mousse of organic dark chocolate from Haiti surrounds a jelly of Earl Grey tea with bergamot from partner brand Jing Tea, finishing with a creamy heart of Piedmont hazelnut. This light, melt-in-the-mouth roll is set on a crunchy praline base with dried fruit and pumpkin seeds – trendy and full of goodness!

A nod to the traditional log and to nature, “Chocolat-Thé” features a velvet finish decorated with a piece of chocolate bark worked in three different ways.

To enhance the tasting experience, the Chef suggests a hot/cold combination with Earl Grey tea.
