A journey to South America in the time of the conquistadors. This season, Les Hommes takes us to another time and place. The world created by Tom Notte and Bart Vandebosc for spring-summer 2017, takes us back to the time of the Spanish conquests of the Americas, obviously with the freshness and modernity we know them for.

The collection features oversized silhouettes and loose-fitting cuts with interesting layering effects. Fabrics and knits are mixed, as are textures and even sizes.

Military clothing is omnipresent in the collection, bringing an urban and functional re-reading of the inspirations. Outfits mixing technical and modern materials respond to details and embroideries reminiscent of conquistador decorations.

Pants are short with large pockets to suit subtropical forests. Trompe l’oeil decorations are used. Accessories and jewelry are tribal or military.

A strong, urban and modern collection.
