Aquaracer 300 Meters Ceramic (43mm)
Calibre 5 Automatic
Aquaracer. The essence of a sports watch inspired by the aquatic world.
In the history of watchmaking, the first water-resistant case was patented in 1892 by Edouard Heuer. It was an immediate success. Since then, the Aquaracer (a collection created by TAG Heuer in 2003) has continued to evolve, becoming a watch designed not only for diving and the world of the sea, but for extreme conditions in general.
Sturdy, water-resistant to 300 meters, with its 12-facetted, unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel with 6 lugs, screw-down crown, large luminescent markers on indexes and hands for enhanced visibility, and screw-down caseback engraved with a diving suit, the watch is instantly recognizable.
For the 2016 edition, the Aquaracer becomes more powerful and massive with a larger case – 43 mm vs. 41 mm previously. The ceramic bezel has been “relifted” to give it a more racy look, with engraved and silver-lacquered numerals. The magnifying glass (reintroduced last year) is also back on the date window. Inside, the time-tested Calibre 5 automatic mechanical movement beats, precise and reliable.
All in all, with this level of finish and functionality, the Aquaracer offers one of the best value for money on the market.
