Leffe Royale Crystal Edition Estivale is the brand new premium beer from Leffe.
In 2015, after scouring the world for the best hops, Leffe brewmasters launched the Leffe Royale and invited consumers to discover exceptional exceptional Belgian beers :
- Leffe Royale Whitbread Golding is made with Whitbread Golding hops, from Belgium, with lemony and resinous notes,
- Leffe Royale Cascade IPA made with Cascade hops from the mountains of the United States.
After launching a winter edition in November 2015, Leffe Royale Mount Hood, Leffe Royale now enriches its range with a summer edition, Leffe Royale Crystal.
Delicate and refined, Crystal hops are grown on the West Coast of the United States. Sweet and pleasant, spicy and floral, Crystal hops deliver tropical aromas of passion fruit, peaches, apricots and oranges. Conceived with the raw hopping technique, the Leffe Royale Crystal has a refreshing hop character.
Here are the tasting notes of Cyril Hubert, beerologist in order to describe you at best this new product.
Tasting a beer is a very personal experience, and the way you feel about it is the result of a lifelong gustatory experience that is unique to each individual:
– Visual analysis: Attractive collar of white foam, very bright, limpid (due to filtration), very beautiful golden yellow, orange, amber color,
– Olfactory analysis : beautiful smell of yellow fruits, aromas of exotic fruits, peach, apricot, mango, pineapple, at first approach, then a subtle herbaceous side bringing out the hops.
– Taste analysis : very dynamic effervescence, bitterness present, but not aggressive, takes fullness in the mouth, with a slight touch of acidity at the end of the tongue, taste of bitter orange peel. Belgian pale ale style.
Leffe Royale Crystal, conceived with the raw hopping technique, was elaborated with Crystal hops (grown on the West Coast of the United States) which gives it a refreshing hop character.
