MIZENSIR Perfumes, a family story…

In the Morillas family, memories, travels, traditions, … we know!

When Alberto Morillas created his Mizensir brand of scented candles in 1999, it was with his wife, Claudine,
and daughter, Véronique, that the Master Perfumer naturally chose to work. A family affair, as they say.
A few years later and nearly 80 fragrant escapes later, together they continued the adventure and launched a collection of eaux de parfums;
a line for which Alberto Morillas drew much of his inspiration from his life, his adventures around the world, but above all from those closest to him.

“Alma de Rosario”, his mother, “Édition de véronique”, his daughter, “Little Bianca” his granddaughter…
Three women, three readings of his life, three compositions in which the maestro reveals himself in the intimacy of a joy-filled family life.

ALMA DE ROSARIO

From his childhood, he keeps his roots, the colors and the perfumed notes of the Andalusian garden where his mother used to walk him. A woman of heart to whom he pays tribute with brilliance by making “Alma de Rosario”, a musky floral that tells in perfume those tender moments, cheerful and sweet as a memory.

In a few shots: The calone wets with its aquatic notes the bergamot and the violet leaf. Then delicate flowers in abundance thanks to the orange blossom, lily of the valley and jasmine petals agreements, tenderized by the powdery nuances of the ambrette seed and white musks, the freshest and the most cottony.

ÉDITION DE VÉRONIQUE is a rosy floral he dedicates to his daughter.
In the beginning, it was a story of white mucs, as Alberto Morillas so loves them, tender yet sensual, discreet yet prescient. Then came the flowers, as they were used in the old days, in infusion, a traditional process that only the big perfume houses still use.
These were rose centifolia and jasmine sambac, more orange and less animalic than jasmine grandiflorum. A duo to which he added a beautiful iris and a surprising smoky woody note via the essence of cade. To prolong the magic of this floral profusion and give it its tender musky touch, he offered it the softest musks and amber woods.

LITTLE BIANCA delivers, with a lot of modesty and emotions, a flowery-herbal composition that he reserves for his little daughter, who is barely one year old. A delicate attention that he addresses to the small piece of woman that she is but especially to the one that she will become.

“My little Bianca,
You have my eyes but I don’t know if you have my nose. Let alone if you will be one. But I know one thing, that in our fast-paced world, the world of scents is one of the most wonderful. How good it is to stop and smell the perfume of a rose in a garden, the zest of a citrus fruit in summer. Smells don’t cheat, Little Bianca, they speak to your heart, in a language that always tells the truth.
In this perfume, I have put all that I love, simple and beautiful scents so that you recognize what is true and essential. There is the freshness of mandarin and bergamot, the delicacy of Bulgarian rose, and the white musks that I love so much.
This rose cologne will perfume your laundry or your mother’s skin when she holds you. That’s it. So you have a little bit of me to guide your first steps and to follow your path.
Alberto, your grandfather.”

A story of the heart that has not finished animating the Master Perfumer…
