Julie de Libran inaugurates a fourth chapter at Sonia Rykiel, faithful to the Rive-Gauche spirit, and the famous stripes for the fall-winter 2016 collection. The woman of this season is a night owl, who hesitates between a sleep rocked by sweet dreams, and the party until dawn.
She then goes out in transparent nightie, under coats, men’s tweed jackets or fox fur, with her feet in pumps with big tassels.
The silhouettes catch the light between the large sequins, lurex and gold buttons. A side of “m’as-tu-vu” which blossoms in the XXL fur bags, the big hats and the net dresses of hip-hop inspirations, but never at first degree.
A collection under the sign of the collaboration with the artist Maggie Cardelús. She created a print that reflects the image of the house, both literally and figuratively, as it features the faces of Sonia, Nathalie, and Lola Rykie, as a tribute to emotions.
