Who hasn’t heard of Popelini, the Parisian empire of cream puffs? The capital’s elegant ladies fall for their deliciously handcrafted pastries and gourmet flavors: Madagascar vanilla, praline, pistachio and Morello cherry confit… not forgetting the chou du jour, a steamy little jewel of whipped cream and seasonal fruit.
So it’s hardly surprising that we’ve fallen in love with their Valentine’s Day box, a little jewel case of tenderness with soft drawings and seven colorful sweets looking down on us? Their tempting name, “The Seven Deadly Sins”, suggests many adventures. Are they really? It’s enough to pique our curiosity…
