This 7th edition of the French Pole Dance Competition confirmed the growing success of this event with a public and an audience of journalists won over by the show presented under the aegis of the masters of ceremonies, Mariana Baum and Jean-Baptiste Plachez.
On the evening of October 24th, La Cigale was packed to capacity with connoisseurs and connoisseurs-in-the-know.
The show lived up to its promise, with costumes, lighting effects and music in synergy with the performers’ evolutions, whose bodies seemed to move in weightlessness around bars that became the pretext for high-flying aerial figures and acrobatics. And therein lies the paradox of this young discipline with its singular universe, which has conquered its letters of nobility by combining technicality, power, lightness and elegance to make it a plural art in its own right.
