The Relais & Châteaux establishment is offering a new treatment straight from the Himalayas, to maintain physical and mental vitality at its peak!
Located in the heart of Alsace, in the charming medieval village of Kaysersberg, Le Chambard****, run by MOF Chef Olivier Nasti, invites guests to stop off at its 200m2 Spa to enjoy treatments tailored to the winter season. Among the wide range of energetic treatments is the new Himalayan flagship Altearah, which helps to banish stress and fatigue, both physical and mental! It’s the ideal way to regain your form and balance, and to combat the aches and pains of everyday life as winter sets in.
In a harmonious setting bathed in natural light, the Spa du Chambard, equipped with two treatment rooms, features a full range of energetic treatments performed with brio by two experts. This winter, the new Altearah” Himalayan treatment with salt sachets is the ideal ally for soothing back and legs. Inspired by color cosmetics, the ritual begins with an olfactory session using organic essential oils chosen for their energizing properties according to the customer’s mood. Red for vitality, orange for creativity, purple for energy, violet for balance… all 14 colors of the rainbow are available. This is followed by a session of Tibetan singing bowls to rebalance the chakras according to the Yin & Yang approach, thanks to the vibrations of traditional musical notes. This is followed by a Himalayan salt-pack massage to loosen muscles. After 1h15, the body regains all the keys it needs to draw on its resources.
It’s all about dreams and happiness for body and mind. Other key treatments at Spa du Chambard include energetic drainage on seasonal-colored clay which changes throughout the year according to guests’ birthdates. In the spotlight from now on, black clay to regenerate ligaments and kidney energy and regain optimal fullness (until January 16). Finally, the Guinot Hydradermie treatment, the star of the Guinot range, offers a rested, luminous face after ionization. After their treatment, guests can take advantage of the indoor infinity pool heated to 30° with counter-current swimming, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam.
To round things off in style, Le Chambard offers a top-class culinary experience at either the 64° restaurant or its Winstub. At 64°, the 2-star Michelin and 4-Toques Gault & Millau restaurant run by MOF chef Olivier Nasti, Alsatian products are modernized according to his contemporary vision of gastronomy. Specialties include Egg 64°, Filet de boeuf de l’Aubrac, lard Colonnata and foie gras d’oie “assembled like a millefeuille” or Morceau de gros cabillaud cuit vapeur, coquillages et marinières et jus semi-coagulé… dishes to be savored in a refined, hushed atmosphere.
