Throughout September, Hard Rock Cafe offered the Whiskey Burger à la carte. This ephemeral and original creation was the result of a competition launched by the chain with the kitchen staff of its restaurants in Europe,
, with the aim of highlighting the talent of its employees. Everyone from the commis, to the griller, to the saucier and even the dishwasher was able to express their creativity and know-how by taking part in this Battle of
the Burger.
The principle? Participants in this battle were challenged to create an original burger recipe inspired by one of the objects in the Memorabilia of the restaurant where they work. And it was Hard Rock Cafe Bruxelles’s Grill Manager Mihaita Agape who came out on top with her Whiskey Burger inspired by Slash’s self-portrait, one of the masterpieces on display in the Brussels restaurant.
Heavy rock for the palate!
The Whiskey Burger from steakhouse Mihaita Agape features a very generous Whiskey-glazed, marinated beef steak topped with a slice of Monterey Jack cheese, crispy bacon and Whiskey-marinated fried onions. All served between two buns of lightly toasted brioche bread, topped with mushrooms and fried jalapenos.
