KSWISS, the American tennis legend, is collaborating this year with the famous Parisian blogger, Sophie Trem, of the blog “The Other Art of Living” (TOAOL) for an exclusive partnership on the brand’s iconic model, “The Classic”, available exclusively at colette from September 17th in Paris (Available in stores and online).
THE OTHER ART OF LIVING …
Born in Paris, Parisian blogger Sophie Trem, 35, has worked in the fashion industry for over 10 years and is currently in charge of communications and image for Qwant, a European search engine that guarantees the privacy of others, while actively working on her lifestyle blog “The Other Art Of Living”.
Since she was a teenager, Sophie has been a big fan of K-Swiss, especially since her trip to California, where she saw the iconic shoe on everyone’s feet. Sophie wanted to create a sneaker that reflected her image and her state of mind, inspired by all her travels.
Today, Sophie’s blog “The Other Art Of Living” is dedicated to all the beautiful things that contribute to improving life in general, and to all those who have simply decided to live differently.
For all these reasons, Sophie wanted to highlight a compass similar to her tattoo on her right wrist, representing her compass, her direction. It’s not a simple compass representing the direction north, south, east, west, but the direction that takes you on a journey towards the right path, the quest for balance, the right direction that will bring you peace, love and magic.
TATTOO & STYLE
Sophie wanted to bring the very essence of her passion to this collaboration. As a result, she collaborated with the renowned tattoo artist, Walter Hego, in one of the most renowned tattoo parlors in Paris, l’Encrerie. The compass represents only a tool, a universal sign of the direction we choose. This compass is now embroidered on the tongue of the TOAOL X K-SWISS shoe.
What’s more, the name of her blog “The Other Art Of Living” is inscribed on the heel of the shoe. As well as being elegant and timeless, the name “The Other Art Of Living” reminds people to enjoy the finer things in life, and the importance of choosing one’s path.
To complete this collaboration, Sophie chose K-Swiss’ iconic “The Classic” model, all in white leather.
