American label Hood by Air shows its men’s collection in Paris. Hood by Air, the up-and-coming label from New York, shows its men’s collection in Paris, with the undulating Philharmonie building as backdrop. Designer Shayne Oliver likes to mix genres, going from Rnb to goth, from sporty to drag queen, from strapping to frail… Just like today’s youth, who are already fans of the label. For summer 2016, HBA men dare to wear everything, including hair clips and diamond rhinestones on eyelashes, and even mouth guards made of needles or pearls. Oliver cuts, detaches and reattaches. The pants split into three pieces and unzip, the top drapes, the purple leather expands, the jeans crackle, the hand accessory is worn like a boxing glove. The “HBA” logo, already widely recognized and adopted, is found throughout the collection. Aware of the mix of cultures and the importance of streewear, Oliver mixes and plays with everything, isn’t afraid to surprise, experiments, and creates an “HBA” gang phenomenon…
