Journey to the Land of Orange Blossom

A few weeks ago, we headed south to discover the international capital of perfume: Grasse. An opportunity to meet a perfume brand that deserves to be better known, and that perpetuates the Grasse tradition.

Once we arrived in Grasse, we picnicked and enjoyed the sunshine in a rose field, learning how to make rose water and rose sugar. It’s a pity that most of the flower fields in Grasse and the surrounding area have disappeared, with only a few left for Chanel and a few other major houses, as well as a few small ones.

We also discovered the world of this perfume brand with an extremely complete range.

Founded in 1998 by the Roux family, Au Parys de la Fleur d’Oranger has transformed its heritage into a veritable art of living. Virginie Roux draws on her terroir and her family’s history of fragrant flowers to tell the story of her brand.

The brand’s origins lie in the fragrance of orange blossom, renowned for its gentle, soothing properties. The company chooses its partners in France to remain as faithful as possible to its values and tradition, and offers a wide range of perfumes and cosmetics with the scent of the hills of the Côte d’Azur. Perfume is sublimated as a luxury product with noble French essences and components.

Orange Blossom, also known as Neroli, is the origin and base of these essences. It gives rise to the Néroli Blanc range, comprising several fragrances: Néroli Blanc, Néroli Blanc intense, Eau de Madeleine, Neroli Oud.

Then there’s the “les inédits” collection, created by perfumer Jean-Claude Gigodot and inspired by the flowers of the Côte d’Azur, but also by more complex and elaborate scents. The materials are precious and carefully crafted to create a unique fragrance. These include Lavande Ombrée, Tubereuse rosée, Bergamote Boisée, Figue Fruitée, Jasmin Rêvé, Rose Irisée, Violette Sacrée and Eau de Madeleine.

You’ll also find a full range of cosmetics and soaps.
