John & George Grant announce the release of the new limited edition 1966 Fino Cask. This 47-year-old Fino cask edition is by far the oldest from the Glenfarclas distillery. It will be the first in a series of 6 special bottlings produced by the distillery of the family with the legendary name. Only 1444 bottles were produced from 3 Fino sherry casks.
Bottle packaged in a black leather box inlaid with a silver coin depicting the portrait of John Grant, George’s great, great, great grandfather who bought the distillery in 1865. This first edition marks the start of a series of 6 special editions of Glenfarclas, each different, one for each member of the family. Declining to reveal too much about the next edition, George Grant simply states, “What’s coming next is something totally different, but we’ll have to wait and find out! ”
