Retro Balls by Häagen-Dazs pay homage to the great tennis days of the seventies. Historically, these tennis balls have always been white. They changed to fluorescent yellow in 1970, to be better seen during television broadcasts. With its retro balls, Häagen-Dazs is continuing the doubles tournament it started with its fans and tennis fans alike. In the tie-break, it’s pleasure that wins!
With this brand new proposal of three spheres with the curves of tennis balls, Balles Rétro by Häagen-Dazs combine freshness, sweetness and acidity.
At the center of a Balle Rétro by Häagen-Dazs, there’s a crunchy macaron shell overlooking a melting heart of yuzu. The whole is coated with a generous layer of exclusive limited-edition “Yuzu Citrus & Cream” ice cream. This pastry creation is delicately coated with a thin layer of white chocolate. This irresistible sweet treat has been specially created for the Champs Elysées boutique by Häagen-Dazs pastry chef, and will be sold exclusively on the world’s most beautiful avenue, as well as at Colette.
