The Dolce&Gabbana eyewear collection for summer 2015 is inspired by the Spanish influence in Sicily, transposing themes and colors.
For this season, a special pair of glasses has also been designed and produced in a limited edition entitled “Spain in Sicily”; they represent the Spanish soul, inspired by the traditional combs that close the veil of flamenco dancers. The inlays evoke the craftsmanship and attention to detail that are the pride of “Made in Italy”. The classic animal motif makes a comeback in the collection, adding a touch of eccentricity.
DG4256. Inspired by “Spain in Sicily”, one of the themes of Dolce&Gabbana’s PE 2015 collection, this pair of sunglasses featured on
the catwalks was produced in a limited edition. With its round shape and wide face in inlaid acetate, this model recalls the Spanish tortoise combs used to hold the mantilla. It evokes an imperious, irresistible femininity, softened by the sensual
play of chiaroscuro and smoked lenses. Three colors are available: gloss black with smoked gray glass; dark Havana and blond Havana with smoked cognac glass. The Dolce&Gabbana logo under resin appears on the temple stud. The glasses come in a special “precious box” with case, customized with a motif of red eyelets on black and white polka dots.
DG3236. Eyewear frame with theme
“Spain in Sicily” from Dolce&Gabbana’s PE 2015 collection. The angular line is softened by the width of the inlaid acetate temples, inspired by Spanish combs and fans, which give these glasses a particularly seductive, suggestive effect. The model is available in three classic colors: glossy black, dark Havana and blond Havana. The Dolce&Gabbana logo under resin appears on the temple stud. Also available in Asian Fit.
DG3229. Acetate eyewear with light, graceful butterfly lines. The sensual touch is conveyed by Dolce&Gabbana’s characteristic animal print, which plays with color on the front and temples between the inside and outside of the frame. The versions: leopard upper part on black with black interior; leopard upper part on opal raspberry with opal raspberry interior; leopard upper part on opal lime with opal lime interior. The Dolce&Gabbana logo on the temple has no outline. Some versions are also available in Asian Fit.
DG4265. Sunglasses with an accentuated round shape, embellished by thick, inlaid acetate temples featuring the
Spanish comb motif. Available in glossy black with smoky grey lens, dark Havana with smoky brown lens and blond Havana with smoky cognac
lens. The Dolce&Gabbana logo under resin appears on the temple stud. The glasses come in a special custom case with a motif of red eyelets on black and white polka dots.
DG4262. Acetate with an angular design. It features a play of superimpositions between the animal motif, Dolce&Gabbana’s great passion, and the opaline base. In all versions, the spotted print completely decorates the temples and half the front, revealing the color. Combinations: leopard on black with smoked grey glass; leopard on opal brown with smoked brown glass; leopard on opal raspberry red with pink smoked mirror glass; leopard on opal green with smoked green glass. The Dolce&Gabbana logo on the temple has no outline.
DG4257. A round model combining acetate with dice-shaped colors and the vintage elegance of gold-colored metal that illuminates the face and temples. Versions include: lemon-colored dice temple face and sleeve with pale gold detailing and gold-colored mirrored glass; green apple-colored dice temple face and sleeve with pale gold detailing and smoked green glass. There’s also a completely black version, again with pale gold metal parts and smoked grey lenses. The Dolce&Gabbana logo is engraved on the temple.
DG4263. A triumph of gold in the purest Dolce&Gabbana style for these angular sunglasses. The inside of the acetate frame is gold-plated, while the outside and temples are covered in different colors at the top. The versions: top part in black on gold with smoked grey glass; top part in fuchsia on gold with pink mirrored glass; top part in silver on gold with silver mirrored glass; top part in sky blue on gold with smoked blue glass. And for those who dare, there’s the version with the top part in gold on gold with gold mirrored glass. The DG logo is embossed on the temple.
DG3234. Cat’s eye frame inspired by Dolce&Gabbana’s “Sicilian taste”. The flavors of the island are evoked in colorful diced acetates such as the candied fruits of the “cassata”, combined with the refined retro raspberry color of the gold-colored details of the face and temples. Versions include: ice-cream-colored dice branch face and sleeves, with pale gold metal details; apple-green dice branch face and sleeves, with pale gold metal details. There’s also the more classic black version, always
with pale gold metal details. The Dolce&Gabbana logo is engraved on the temple. Some versions are also available in Asian Fit.
DG3232. Butterfly eyewear with subtle lines. The gold-colored interior makes these glasses even more feminine, a material increasingly valued by Dolce&Gabbana, combined with a top section available in several colors. The versions: Havana upper on gold; grey upper on gold; petrol upper on gold; fuchsia upper on gold. The DG logo is embossed on the temple. Some versions also offer Asian Fit.
