Diesel Black Gold, Women’s show, Fall/Winter 2015/16, New York

In the heart of Wall Street, just across from the New York Stock Exchange, Diesel Black Gold shows off its rock girls with an eighties spirit. Leather jackets were either very short – one of the major trends of this New York fashion season – or on the contrary, full and wrap-around. Andreas Melbostad adds a certain sensuality and comfort with thick sweaters from which lace tops and dresses protrude. The designer’s touch is evident in the play of zips, laces and fastenings, which become like an S&M camisole, but never overdone.
