Edun, the brand founded by singer Bono and his wife Ali Hewson to promote and develop African resources and owned by the LVMH group, is all about travel, exoticism and discovery. Designer Danielle Sherman incorporates handcrafted elements into every outfit, playing with the idea of the unfinished, like her first coats with exposed threads. Sixties-style tunic dresses take on another dimension with silver lurex stripes worn over leather pants or tall boots that slip on like tights. Belts and brooches are sourced directly from artisans encountered on our travels. Please note. The last two models, with large fringed tapestry fabrics incorporated directly into a black dress and coat.
