Following on from her acclaimed Sex and the Kitchen, Octavie is back with a gritty, behind-the-scenes look at television, following the adventures of Charlotte and her friends Morgane and Déborah.
I loved this book because it reminded me of the TV series Sex and the City: chicks with money, having fun and living life to the full.
Sex and the TV has many erotic passages, but they’re never vulgar, and some are even much funnier and hotter than those you’ll find in 50 Shades of Grey.
I’d recommend this book to anyone looking for a light-hearted escape from the daily grind. I read the whole thing on the subway and I can tell you that from the moment I got up in the morning, it put me in a good mood and gave me a buzz, just like after a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice!

Here is a summary of the book:
In the space of two years, Charlotte’s career has taken off. The best-selling culinary author is now a columnist on a daily TV show. But behind-the-scenes television, where jealousy and power struggles reign, holds many surprises for her. Between the very hot advances of the star presenter and the threats of a mysterious blackmailer, the young woman doesn’t know where to turn. And that’s without counting the departure of her boyfriend Ben for Brazil, which leaves the way open for new sexual experiences… Fortunately, her two best friends – Morgane, the wild fashionista, and Déborah, the love-struck dominatrix – are on hand to help her out of a tight spot… Temptations, fantasies, sextapes and betrayals are the order of the day in this opus, with its torrid eroticism and its ever-increasing sense of humor.
Once again, Octavie Delvaux proves that she has no tongue in cheek when it comes to transcribing the adventures of these girls in tune with the times.
