The Japanese fashion house celebrates 30 years of creation with the “Little Grey” extraterrestrial as its emblem.Rynshu celebrates 30 years of creation. For the occasion, it has chosen the extraterrestrial “Little Grey” as the emblem of its men’s collection. He mixes his favorite themes, presenting functional pieces with others imbued with originality. Materials and colors in shades of gray, white and gold evoke space and black holes. A wink to Einstein in a print on a shirt or jacket. The silhouette is straight, tailored and characterizes the label’s androgynous style. Leather is one of the collection’s key materials. Sourced from Japan, it is produced by only one person in the world, is worn like a second skin, and takes on a lacquered look. And finally, jacquard brings a touch of sparkle to trouser suits. Interview (in Japanese): Rynshu: We’re celebrating my 30th year as a designer and this year I wanted to mark a change, and I think that today we’re questioning everything, what we thought was normal like Einstein’s theory is going to be questioned, and men’s style must also be questioned and that’s why I created this collection around the character “The Little Grey” The master pieces, the key material in this collection is leather, in particular extremely fine black leather, which is lacquered with a brush to create a lace-like effect of lacquer on the leather. There’s only one person in the world in Japan who produces this leather, and I was able to use it to create the pieces in this collection. It’s also our time to mix genders, and you can see, for example, that the length of a dress is going to be the same length as a man’s coat, so it’s also good for balance to mix masculine and feminine pieces together in this collection.
