Fifty shades of gray at Calvin Klein Collection. For next winter, designer Italo Zucchelli confides that he can’t conceive of a Calvin Klein collection without this color. But it’s also all about materials and textures in this urban men’s wardrobe. Sweaters are worn short and with bulging volumes, high-waisted pants are worn relaxed with big, sturdy boots. There are plenty of cold-weather pieces, including many close-fitting aviator jackets, some in vinyl, and voluminous capes and parkas. For the first time on the Calvin Klein catwalk, an animal print was featured, though it remained true to the company’s minimalist, refined image.
