Habitat really surprised us with the opening of its new boutique “Habitat pure. A new boutique concept dedicated to beauty. As soon as we arrived, we were seduced by the boutique’s sleek, sophisticated design. A case of whiteness and purity that gave us an instant feeling of well-being. Combine this with intoxicating scents to suit all tastes and you have a concentrate of simple happiness.
Once we’d recovered from our initial sensations, we were able to discover a really well-thought-out concept. The range names alone are designed to be in harmony (pure imperial, pure oriental, pure thermal and pure cardinal), a real “al” of softness for our little ears. Then, as we stroll along, we discover a white marble table, noble, white, pure, in keeping with the Habitat pure identity. Little by little, as we observe flasks, bottles, candles and other products, we realize the nobility of the materials (copper, ceramics, glass, etc.).
For our greatest pleasure, our nose wants to smell everything, discover everything, touch everything, a “pure” moment of relaxation and ecstasy. The “pure” ambience gradually penetrates our organism, allowing us a moment of escapism, a journey through various lands. Because the PURE range features a wide range of fragrances.
The pure impérial range takes us on a journey to Asia, with fragrances such as “sentier de jade”, “automne à Kyoto” and “bois de santal impérial”. All set off by a 19th-century object, the copper-plated metal bell. All our candles, scented ceramics, room sprays and scented bouquets, bubble baths, body lotions and hand washes are reminiscent of this rich copper material.
The opposite of this range, but based on the same concept, is the pure oriental range. Here, it’s the Orient that exalts our senses, with scents such as “délice au palais d’été”, “jasmin de nuit” and “basil royal”. The candle is set with a ceramic candle jar, a strong symbol of Arab tradition, the Moucharabieh. We find the same products as in the first range, with a few differences in design, materials and scents, of course.
Moving away from these first 2 universes, the Pure thermal range takes us to the Mediterranean, a range that aims to cocoon us with its soft “fig and walnut” and “cotton and neroli” scents. This collection includes many different kinds of candles, as well as a beauty range focused on caressing, since it includes a body lotion, a shower gel, a hand wash and a hand cream.
The last range, my personal favorite, is the pure cardinal range. Each cardinal point is associated with an element, so the declination is based on the 4 elements. Air symbolizes the east, fire the south, water the west and earth the north. Each horizon carries its own associated scents, my favorite being the rather sweet scent of fire. But you can choose from no fewer than 12 distinct fragrances.
I personally recommend the lightning scent as a candle and pillow mist, a real delight! If you too want to experience this initiatory journey, I really invite you to discover the new habitat pure boutique at 31 avenue de wagram, Paris.
