For Paris Fashion Week, Ole Yde takes us on a journey between two worlds: eighteenth-century French fashion and strict, uncluttered Japanese culture.
Balance comes from the delicate blend of opulence and decadence against a sharp, clean, minimalist aesthetic. Two iconic worlds come together to create a modern, feminine and youthful collection whose moods and colors are inspired by both cultures.
Brocades (embroidered fabrics) and laces, poetically used as a signature, reinterpret the feminine silhouette. The combination of French fashion, Japanese painting and calligraphy exalts elegance and refinement.
