Haute Joaillerie designer Cindy Chao has teamed up with American actress Sarah Jessica Parker to create a unique piece of jewelry: a gold and diamond brooch called“Ballerina Butterfly“.

This perfectly unique Black Label Masterpiece 2014 brooch is mounted on a titanium and 18-carat gold body. To form this little ballerina and her butterfly wings, the two women used the most majestic pieces:
A brown cushion diamond weighing 26.27 carats, three brown rough diamonds weighing 47.71 carats in total, three conch pearls weighing 7.25 carats in total, surrounded by 4,698 colored diamonds and fancy diamonds weighing 98.09 carats.

Barely born, the “Ballerina Butterfly” brooch has already traveled thousands of kilometers. In Paris in July, for Haute Couture week. Then to New York on September 23, where Cindy Chao and Sarah Jessica Parker co-chaired the New York City Ballet’s Autumn Gala.

This unique piece will be auctioned in Hong Kong on October 7 to benefit this classical and modern dance company.
