Christine Phung celebrates her love of materials against the backdrop of the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. After the mountain skier in her latest autumn/winter collection, Christine Phung celebrates an adventurous woman out cycling around volcanoes… An imaginary tale to better explain the idea of the urban mixed with that of movement, in this very feminine collection, where the dress is at the heart of the collection. The designer plays with new materials and technical fibers, pleating and weaving them, even printing digitized photos of lava in circles on silk. Also noteworthy are the interplay of straps, the drawn-back volumes on T-shirts and blouses, and the beautiful bras matching the flared skirts…
