Sharp cuts and heightened sensuality at Anthony Vaccarello…Leather opened the Anthony Vaccarello show on the first day of Paris Fashion Weeks. And right from the start, the label’s signature codes were evident, with sharp cuts and exaggerated sensuality. The one-legged skirt with asymmetrical panelling is the piece featured throughout the collection. The sensuality of a sheer blouse with fine navy stripes, metallic detailing for the V-neckline of a pantsuit, or staples for a mini-skirt set on the hips. Black and white reinforce the rigor of the cuts. Like a new print, the designer displays his initials and the season on his silhouettes in sometimes contrasting materials. Here, the woman exudes ultra-mastered sensuality, with a treatment of the marine theme that is both urban and strong in personality.
