The casual attitude dominates for summer 2015 between floral prints, total denim looks, sportswear suits and flip-flops. Men are already dressed for summer 2015. After London and Milan, the catwalks ended in Paris with Saint Laurent’s vibrant show. Here are 5 points to remember for a new summer wardrobe. First of all, summer means colors and prints. Flowers arrive on shirts, but also on jackets, scarves, Bermuda shorts and pants, to be worn in bright or pastel hues. Denim is also making a comeback, often worn rolled up, with hands in pockets. But above all, dare to go for the total look. Choose from shirts, jackets and pants, or even a denim trench coat. The suit remains the key element in a man’s wardrobe. And it’s fair to say that for summer 2015, it’s playing the comfort and flexibility card. The pants are wider, the jacket lighter. But it’s sportswear that’s really taking over the wardrobe, and it’s blending particularly well with trouser suits. First of all, the suit is now worn with sneakers, from city models – even made-to-measure at Berluti – to colorful runners. Next, the shirt is replaced by zip-up sweatshirts, for even greater effect, and the jacket becomes a blouson, or even a bomber in a very ’80s style… A silhouette seen in virtually every fashion show. Finally, on the accessories front, flip-flops are already very much in evidence this season and will become a must-have for next summer, but in a luxury version. So, to sum up, casual style is the new attitude to adopt next year.
