Nespresso: the new Inissia machine puts on a show!

You may have come across her before, certainly seen her. She’s dressed in White, Vanilla Cream, Ruby Red, Pearl Grey, Vintage Orange, Summer Sun & Sky Blue. It’s called Inissia, and this May, the new Nespresso machine is putting on a show…

To celebrate Inissia, its new range of machines, Nespresso gave artist Sébastien Preschoux carte blanche to weave a spectacular decor in its emblematic Boutique on the Champs-Elysées.
With vanishing lines outlining the space, meters of colored wire form clusters of suspended diamonds: Sébastien Preschoux’s installation is acidic, enthusiastic and sculptural, just like Inissia, the latest Nespresso machine with an optimistic, colorful design.
In the window displays, inspired by Inissia’s chromatic palette, Sébastien Preschoux poked fun at the Haussmannian design of the façade, highlighting it with luminous stripes and creating psychedelic cyclos. In the heart of the Boutique, the artist, passionate about optical art and the values of Bahaus, has hand-woven surprising multicolored mobiles floating above an island of INISSIA machines. The eight shades in the collection (Black, White, Vanilla Cream, Ruby Red, Pearl Grey, Vintage Orange, Summer Sun, Sky Blue) are woven into a round of colors.
A true artistic performance, this ephemeral installation illustrates Nespresso’s spirit of innovation, its talent for integrating art into everyday life, combining design with proven know-how and demonstrating its support for contemporary creation by offering young artists a space for expression.
