To celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2013, the establishment underwent a veritable rejuvenation and, after 6 months of refurbishment, took on a new look. Everything has been designed with well-being in mind: minimalist, uncluttered decor, spacious corridors, hushed ambiences… so that every moment is a moment of relaxation and escape.
The premises have undergone a veritable facelift, with a complete overhaul of the spaces. Built over 18,500 m2, the establishment houses a 90-room hotel****, a thalasso, a marine spa (320 m2 seawater basins, 2 saunas, 1 hammam, 1 fitness room) as well as an exceptional spa, Spa Beauté by Carita, with 400 m2 and 12 cabins, one of which is a duo opening onto the ocean.
A hotel**** that brings comfort, modernity and the assurance of absolute relaxation with direct access to treatments. Each room has a large bay window with balcony overlooking the sea, the port or the outdoor patio. The rooms are warmly decorated in a contemporary style.
Because thalassotherapy and culinary pleasures also go hand in hand, the hotel’s chef Dominique Ochin offers original cuisine in a range of refined menus, as well as slimming menus. Also worth discovering are the taste workshops, true initiations into the culinary arts. We appreciated the quality of the products and the joviality of his passionate chef.
Just a few meters from the thalasso, on the market square facing the marina and the small fishing port of Fontarrabie, the bodega cider house La Pinta to enjoy traditional Spanish meals and share with Basque chef Inaki Tetilla his passion for his country and its culture.
