For this Fall Winter 2014/2015 collection, Fendi offers an extended version of our reality. Reality through Fendi’s lens. It’s graphic, minimalist, efficient and pragmatic with a zest for the offbeat.

The emphasis on texture, high quality, creates a slight distortion with the functional purity of the design, giving energy to the whole…

The idea is to allow high-tech to retain a primitive feel, thanks to materials that encourage touch.

The result is a wardrobe for urban expeditions. The collection takes all the elements of the men’s repertoire. FENDI lens treatments transform them into iconic pieces: a distorted Prince of Wales check print runs down the coat, a biker calf leather jacket is embossed and embroidered to give the appearance of crocodile skin, and suits have compact, deep textures. Fur, a quintessential FENDI DNA and savoir-faire, is sublimated in a mink coat, or in a blue and brown marmot coat.

There’s a constant shift in codes. Neoprene looks like crocodile, everything is hijacked to subvert luxury and transform it in a subversive way.

The color palette is sophisticated and effective: black, chocolate, gray, khaki, blue.

The secret weapon for this multi-faceted FENDI man is his sense of humor: a generalized lightness of spirit.

FENDI’s iconic Peekaboo bag is making a strong comeback in the men’s wardrobe.

A collection that plays with appearances, elevating trompe l’oeil to the pinnacle of men’s fashion.
