727 Sailbags, the brand specializing in recycled boat sails, opens its first Parisian outlet at 19 rue du Jour in the 1st arrondissement.
Boutique, showroom and offices all in one place.

727 Sailbags opens its first boutique in Paris: a place where design, maritime inspiration and recycling come together.
A superb space of over 90 m2 reflecting the brand’s “seaside and ocean racing” universe, with a sleek yet cosy atmosphere that promises a complete change of scenery
: boat sails, oak flooring, reclaimed wood boxes, vintage counter…
The 727 Sailbags boutique brings together the now essential range of bags, accessories, deckchairs, poufs and lighting, as well as brands and creations close to their universe and values. Among them, 1Bag1Match, 727 Sailbags’ twin brand, which recycles sports jerseys to make luggage and is on display in the boutique’s basement.
One of the boutique’s exclusive services is the possibility of creating your own custom-made bag by hand, a real added value. We tested this service and here are a few images of our creation.

New co-brands and a broader range
The brand also continues its prestigious collaborations: after the numbered collection of bags made from the sails of Eric Tabarly’s Pen Duick, 727 Sailbags has teamed up with Eric Bompard to create two 100% cashmere sweaters, with elbow patches made from recycled boat sails. Likewise, 727 Sailbags doesn’t hesitate to team up with other brands to design new packaging, as with Britanie – the organic cosmetics brand from Brittany.
