Elie Saab, Women’s Spring/Summer 2014, Paris

It was in his “Garden of Lace” that Elie Saab transported us to offer us his new Spring/Summer 2014 Women’s Ready-to-Wear collection.

A fitting name for this new collection, presented in the Jardin des Tuileries, in the heart of Paris, for which the famous Lebanese designer draws his inspiration from nature, and more specifically from flowers through the different stages of their life.

Printed or in color, the flower, in its general state, follows and continues through all the models that parade before our eyes, opening ever more the door to this bucolic garden.

Colors such as white camellia, rosehip pink and bougainvillea red confirm the designer’s imprint and inspiration.

As the day draws to a close in the garden, night appears, bringing a new color to this fan: dark black, revealing the sensual allure of the Elie Saab woman we all love.

Embroidery and lace unite to create a garden of flowers, echoing the DNA of the Maison, and combine with light fabrics like silk chiffon to create an airy allure for a woman at peace with nature, highlighted by light, sophisticated make-up with intense eyes.
