Philocalie: love of beauty (Greek).
A project led by communications strategist Valérie Solvit, Philocalie is a collective work bringing together the visions of Beauty of a hundred contemporary personalities from different horizons: designers, architects, writers, philosophers, painters, musicians, filmmakers, creators… These different points of view combine to give us a picture of today’s beauty.
The 156 pages of this French/English book combine texts and works of art, prompting us to question our own vision of beauty.
Supported by L’Oréal, a global player in the beauty industry, the book is available in a limited edition of 5,000 copies, in a boxed set published by Éditions de l’Embellissement.
