In the quasi-religious setting of the Cordeliers convent, Romanian designer Ingrid Vlasov presents her spring-summer 2011 collection.

As usual, the designer confirms her taste for voluptuous, vaporous materials and ultra-feminine cuts.

Backs are revealed with refinement, materials are light, delicately transparent. The overall effect is a subtle, elegant glimpse of form.

Seduction is certainly the word that sums up this collection and its designer.

Ingrid Vlasov discreetly unveils the feminine silhouette with a combination of materials and volumes, close to the body or vaporous, revealing curves or not.

Combinations of cream, white and black follow one another. The occasional orange and blue. Giving the collection a certain energy.

As in his last collections, embroidery and textile work multiply. This season, in fact, is marked by elements that bring out peaks of color. Prints of lace chains can be seen all over the pieces, giving a graphic look to the ensemble.

Low-cut necklines are becoming a rarity, so next summer, the Vlasov woman will opt for high or crew-neck collars.

In fact, some of the garment’s details are marked by a color that contrasts with the rest of the look. Black stripes highlight collars, fastenings and hems.

Ingrid Vlasov offers a compendium of elegance, sensuality and luxury for a woman preoccupied with pleasing others.
