It’s the story of an unusual perfume brand, because it’s closely linked to music. It’s called L’Orchestre Parfum and comprises six artisan perfumes for which six artists have created a piece of music.

These six unisex fragrances smell incredible and I thought I’d send you an envelope with everything you need to discover them.

With theOrchestre Parfum, music and fragrance enter into correspondence, deepening a unique accord, a source of emotion.

Since 2017, L’Orchestre Parfum has brought together the greatest perfumers and exceptional musicians. For each of the six fragrances, a piece of music is created with the same élan for a perfect osmosis.

To coincide with the launch of Piano Santal fragrance, here’s a golden opportunity to discover the L’Orchestre Parfum brand, born of a synesthetic approach featuring perfume and music.

For the first time, music sublimates the most beautiful notes of perfumery. Since 2017, L’Orchestre Parfum has been creating unisex fragrances hand-designed by the finest artisans, perfumers, before a renowned musician composes a piece, inspired by each fragrance.

With theOrchestre Parfum, music and fragrance meet and dialogue in a unique and unprecedented accord.

New notes, new chords, new harmonies: Thé Darbouka, Cuir Kora, Encens Asakusa, Flamenco Néroli, Rose Trombone, and the latest Piano Santal are here to move our senses. Whether you’re a fan of rock, soul or atypical sounds, you’ll find what you’re looking for in the range of six fragrances.

To listen to Mathias Berchadsky for Flamenco Neroli :

If perfume can stir the emotions, so can music!

Encens Asakusa plunges us into the mystical atmosphere of a Japanese temple, combined with the sound of the koto and the scent of myrrh and iris, thanks to a theme played by Fumie Hihara.

Flamenco Néroli, the freshest of the six fragrances, unveils the sparkle of neroli and bergamot to the vibrant tempo of flamenco performed by Mathias Berchadsky.

Rose Trombone transports us into the dark, sensual atmosphere of a jazz club, with a rose with facets of aldehydes, wood and rum that blends perfectly with the brass theme composed by Nicolas Benedetti.

Cuir Kora invites us to escape with the delicate sound of the kora, a plucked string musical instrument from West Africa, played by Cheikh Diallo himself.

Thé Darbouka takes us to the Sahara desert, to the rhythm of the darbouka, a percussion instrument. This is an original tea with accents of spices and wood, with effects of dry hay and moss, magnified by Nicolas Leroy’s darbouka playing.

And the final Piano Santal embodies a white, woodsy dream, as if falling asleep in a piano surrounded by the scent of white sheets and drowsy skin, all set to music by Edouard Ferlet’s piano.

To listen to Fumie Hiara for Encens Asakusa :

» I’m a perfumer and a musician. My fondest memories are of the dialogue between these two arts. Those unique moments when time stands still. Where music and perfume create the most perfect harmony.

I created L’Orchestre Parfum to revive and share these magical emotions. I invite you to wear a song, listen to a fragrance for the duration of a journey.

I went in search of the scent of music with the greatest craftsmen & luthiers: Essences of guitar wood, trombone brass, kora leather. Great noses then combined them with the finest perfume materials: rose, incense, neroli.

Last but not least, talented musicians have taken care to compose a song for each fragrance.  » Pierre Guguen, Founder
