J.Crew is pleased to announce its partnership with the department store, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, which will open the brand’s first French corner. A selection of pieces from the Women’s, Men’s and Children’s crewcuts collections will be available, from the beginning of August 2015.
The women’s collection will be presented in the new, completely renovated contemporary universe, with a dedicated 100 m² space showcasing a selection of the best pieces, including a mix of J.Crew Collection, cashmeres, denim including Point Sur, J.Crew classics and a selection of shoes and accessories.
For the first time in France, the Men’s and Children’s crewcuts collections will be available in-store. A 52 sq.m. corner, reserved for men, will offer a selection of cashmeres, Wallace and Barnes, denim, Ludlow suits, shirts including the collaboration with Thomas Mason, as well as more casual models for the weekend. The crewcuts collection, with models for boys and girls, will offer a 30 m² mix of dresses, suits, outerwear and children’s classics, as well as a selection of accessories.
The opening will coincide with the fall launch of the “Brooklyn Rive Gauche” exhibition at Le Bon Marché. To celebrate this partnership, J.Crew has created a limited-edition capsule collection of Saint James sailors, customized with motifs and phrases straight from Brooklyn. Swarovski crystals and flocked sailors for women, men and children, with phrases like “Fughedaboudit” and “Shorty”, will be exclusive to Bon Marché Rive Gauche.
J.Crew will also be teaming up with New York artist Greg Lamarche to create 25 unique Saint-James marinières based on Brooklyn-inspired graffiti, which will be available exclusively in the new area reserved for the women’s collection.
