This week, Luxsure was invited to discover Martin Grant’s Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 collection.
For this new season, Martin Grant wanted to create a dream wardrobe, one that every woman would want to have at her disposal. Iconic, “perfect” pieces were created, great classics revisited in shape or color in the designer’s own way.
The coat, a timeless basic, has been enlarged with an oversized collar and 60s-style buttons. Elegant bridge pants take on a navy blue hue to stand out from the black. Long skirts and dresses with very simple cuts come in a bright fuchsia pink that flatters all skin tones.
On the evening side, Martin Grant wanted to highlight tweed in two different ways: one is navy blue and gold, the other is black, but is composed of discreet lurex threads that give it an elegant sheen. Evening dresses are structured with lines that enhance the silhouette. Navy blue and black are combined, this time, to soften each other.
A very elegant and refined collection, with finely crafted cuts that break codes in terms of both colors and materials!
