A short film and an exhibition highlight the creative prowess of Stéphane Rolland. Stéphane Rolland innovates in the way he presents his haute couture collection for next winter, with a short film directed by Diane Sagnier, starring Nieves Alvarez and featuring Jalil Lespert. As a result, he has created a sculptural fashion style that showcases lanky silhouettes. With fishnet as a backdrop, Stéphane Rolland reveals the body. Hand-painted Japanese motifs sublimate sheath dresses. Blood-red velvet captures the camera, for an evanescent skirted silhouette. The tuxedo spirit is reworked in a long dress with a split bustier, or a voluminous basque dress. With the release of this short film, the couturier explores a new way of showing his work. The film is not intended as a sales catalog, but rather as a new communication tool. The clothing gives the heroine her personality. But there’s no doubt that Stéphane Rolland’s star is the dress!
