This epic cinematic fresco, which begins in the 1930s, features a captivating chase between two passionate protagonists, with every scene change punctuated by a bewitching leap back in time. The couple, played by Dorcas Coppin and Damien Chapelle, evolve in spectacular settings: a Paris train station from the 1930s, with 250 extras, authentic trains from each decade and exceptional styling by Madeline Fontaine, French costume designer nominated for an Oscar for her work on the film Jackie. Finally, the set is sublimated by the track Novembre by Max Richter, a composer whose music has featured in films such as Shutter Island and the Black Mirror series.
After making The Big Leap, the first branded film in Lacoste’s history, director Seb Edwards once again demonstrates his ability to transcend universal sentiments, staging an attraction that electrifies and enlivens.
