Maison Hédiard has announced the launch of its 2016 Christmas Collection: “Minuit en Provence”.
Inspired by the Provençal custom of the Thirteen Desserts, this Limited Edition revisits traditional products (confectionery, seasonal fruit, dried fruit) in recipes that are both authentic and daring.
Chocolate takes center stage at the festive table, with two creations by Maître Chocolatier Hédiard: a dark chocolate fir tree with candied fruits, and a bouquet of beggars hand-set with a variety of confections.
The Williams Pear with Bourbon Vanilla preparation – created in collaboration with Philippe Bruneton, France’s best jam-maker in 2004 – sublimates this fruit of the season, customary on Provencal holiday tables.
Finally, dried fruit tasting is revisited with a Cévennes honey bursting with walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds; a true marvel of gourmandise and refinement.
The “Minuit en Provence” collection will be launched on the www.hediard.fr eBoutique, and will be available at all Hédiard sales outlets.
