PATUNA Couture Fall-Winter 2017-18 Collection
Patuna’s Autumn-Winter 2017-18 couture collection is a meeting between the organic architecture of Gaudi and the dreamlike abstraction of Dali: oscillating between rigor and fluidity, the silhouettes play on the feminine/masculine contrast, and totally follow the movement of the body. Silk, wool, velvet and cotton underline the flexibility and adaptability of the looks.
The color palette ranges from black to pale pink, gray, cardinal purple and white, interspersed with special elements – details dear to Patuna’s work – that punctuate the collection. Knitwear occupies a large part of the wardrobe: skirts, pants, shorts, which, like “crutches of reality”, enhance the over-size jackets.
Like Dali’s muse Gala, the Patuna woman is a woman of character, free and impetuous.
