The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square opened in June 2017 and offers a sanctuary of well-being in the heart of London’s City. With 8 treatment rooms, including a Spa Suite and steam room, sauna and 14-meter pool, the Spa is located next to the fitness center on the ground floor.
Italian interior designer Joseph Caspari created a flowing environment inspired by the curves of the Rotonde in the hotel lobby. With its oval-shaped reception area covered on the wall with gold mosaic glinting in the light, and vaulted ceilings in the treatment rooms, the Spa offers a soothing, warm environment where energy flows.
Inspired by the history of the area, Joseph Caspari chose mineral tones and natural materials used in Roman times, such as deep gray and silver tones in the pool and natural wood in the treatment rooms. To echo the majesty of the building, the pool is framed by columns whose base is a silver mosaic representing the vine.
“The Spa offers an unrivalled level of comfort in the City of London and a very extensive choice of treatments for women and men. We collaborate with top international brands to offer our guests tailor-made experiences,” comments Spa Director Anjana Nicolas. “In keeping with the unique history of the place, our aim is to marry the best techniques and treatments from Western and Eastern cultures, and we are delighted to welcome our first guests whether they are Londoners or hotel guests.”
Signature treatments and rituals
An inspiring selection of deeply relaxing treatments and holistic experiences is available for both men and women. Partner brands include Amala (German organic cosmetics), Dr Burgener (facials), English brand ESPA and marocMaroc, specialists in authentic Moroccan skincare.
Combining modern techniques with ancestral therapies derived from Western and Eastern philosophies and practices, the signature rituals have been specially designed for the Spa.
One example is Burgener’s Swiss Age Perfecting Jewel Facial, which includes facial cleansing and exfoliation, followed by a regenerating massage, an application of nutrient-rich serum and a nourishing mask. Amala’s Harmonising Detoxifying Ritual brings harmony to body and mind. A body massage with wild organic ingredients to boost hydration is followed by a warm cocoon body mask with Indian rasshoul and body butter to detoxify and soothe the skin. Total relaxation guaranteed. The Prestigious Cocooning hammam ritual by marocMaroc is performed in the traditional way on a heated central base, and consists of an exfoliating treatment with black soap and amber honey, followed by a bath and an energizing massage.
Swimming pool
The 14-metre pool, framed by classical columns, is a space that exudes serenity. Next to it are the sauna, steam room and vitality pool.
Fitness Centre
The fitness center offers Matrix cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, ascent trainers, elliptical trainers and bikes, as well as strength training equipment such as Life Fitness and Hammer Strength. A studio is also available for private lessons and yoga classes.
Boutique
Located on the Spa reception level, this boutique offers a selection of skin and body care products, as well as clothing.
