When she’s not presenting Prêt-à-porter or Haute Couture collections, Claudine Ivari puts the spotlight on French craftsmanship. Linked to the notion of made-to-measure, to creativity in its quintessence, some houses still reflect the ‘French Spirit’. Some trace their origins back to the Age of Enlightenment, others to a century or two later.

Claudine Ivari regularly collaborates with them for her textile creations as well as her interior design activities. Les Ateliers Gérard Lognon reflect the art of folding and origami. These Ateliers, known as L’Indéplissable, have been in existence since 1850. With speed and creativity, they give shape to textiles and celebrate elegance.

Mahlia Kent, founded in 1987, is now owned by Eve Corrigan. She has positioned this textile company at the cutting edge.

Tassinari Chatel was founded in 1680 by Louis Pernon. This Lyonnais silk manufacturer is a testament to the French savoir-faire cherished by Louis XIV and Colbert. Over the centuries, its reputation spread beyond France’s borders. Catherine II of Russia learned of their talent through Voltaire. Other courts were approached and won over. In 1806, Jacquard developed the weaving machine bearing his name in Lyon. Today, the company continues to innovate through goldsmith and jeweler Jean Boggio. With his collection influenced by the 0rient, its eccentricities and pleasures, he offers a glimpse of the future. Isfahan and Soliman are full of pleasurable links and unties, and extraordinary details.

Maison Solstiss, which has specialized in the creation of lace since 1974, combines respect for know-how with extreme creativity.

Esmod, which for 170 years has been promoting design throughout the world, was also present.
