XO – The aesthete’s cognac
This XO, smooth, harmonious, rich and generous, offers real authenticity and a wonderful balance of aromas. It is a blend of 10-15 year-old Petite Champagne and Fins Bois eaux-de-vie, aged in Limousin oak barrels. Mahogany amber in color, it reveals aromatic floral notes (jasmine, violets) and candied fruit (prunes, cinnamon…) The nose is fine and elegant. On the palate, the woody notes are well blended. Enjoy it neat at room temperature (18°C) or with an ice cube.
BLACK – The cognac of character and passion
Aroma, delicacy, intensity and seduction… These are the main qualities of this second XO from La Collection. The name “BLACK” refers to the color of the “blind” tasting glasses used by the cellar master when composing his eaux-de-vie blends. BLACK is a blend of rare, specially selected Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie. After a brief period in new barrels, these eaux-de-vie have been “housed” for a few years in red barrels. Very fine and elegant, very rich in aromas: on the nose, floral notes of iris, violet, honeysuckle and orange blossom. The palate is long and round, with notes of butter and dried apricot. Enjoy on its own over crushed ice, or with tonic, fruit juice or soda.
LOUIS MEMORY – Le Cognac des Rois
Created as a tribute to Louis DEAU, born in 1665 and established in the Cognac region during the reign of Louis XIV, LOUIS MEMORY is the masterpiece of the family trilogy. Produced mainly from very old and exceptional Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, this prestigious cognac is rich in aromas, revealing subtle flavors of dried fruit, honey, cigar box, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is long, round and persistent. Enjoy it neat at room temperature (18°C) in a “tulip” glass, accompanied by a good cigar for connoisseurs.
