On Tuesday, we went to meet Youry Megal, creator of the Hugandyou brand, in his boutique at 18 rue Maître-Albert in Paris’s 5th arrondissement. In a little street that wasn’t chosen at random, where listed buildings, art galleries and antique shops rub shoulders, you’ll find Hugandyou, Youry’s dressing room as he likes to call it. Youry is a passionate Parisian stylist who has cut his teeth at Cadolle Lingerie, Azzaro eyewear and Lacoste Baggarerie. The Hugandyou brand was born in 2011 from the fruit of his meeting with Hugues, then a company director and strategy consultant, and together they decided to create a singular universe, where creativity and impertinence mingle. A glamorous, chic and rock collection far removed from the archetypes of French ready-to-wear, because Hugandyou is not ready-to-wear, but made-to-measure made in France. Unique creations in beautiful materials, silk, lace, leather… all the result of high-quality craftsmanship. A very feminine collection of dresses, tops and lingerie inspired by the glamour of yesteryear, a line of luxury leather goods, art deco-inspired jewelry and a host of other accessories will complete your outfit.
