Billabong x Diane Sagnier
Billabong and Diane SAGNIER Diane Sagnier, renowned photographer and multi-talented 22-year-old artist, has brought a new artistic touch to her collaboration with Billabong by designing two teeshirts from the Spring-Summer 2013 collection.
” I’ve loved the Billabong brand since I was very young,” explains Diane Sagnier. “I’ve always been attracted to the relaxed surf/skate style, which suits me perfectly. I love this naturalness, which also shines through in my work, where I’m constantly on the lookout for purity and inner beauty.”
Diane’s work was recognized by the Prix Picto de la Jeune Photographie de Mode in 2011. Her vision of photography, music and video, inspired by nature and light, represents a new generation with a quest for a new and creative genre. Diane is no stranger to Billabong, having photographed and filmed both winter and summer campaigns. The
creation of these T-shirts has taken the artistic collaboration to another level, with photoprinted self-portraits of the young woman.
Diane Sagnier’s T-shirts for Billabong capture her unique artistic style: “I like to capture the emotion and aesthetic in each photo. I want them to be timeless and play with color, atmosphere and light. I think you can feel all that in the T-shirts.
