Patrick Dempsey becomes the new Silhouette face of a campaign signed by Peter Lindbergh and wears the Titan Minimal Art – The Icon

The meeting of two icons immortalized by a third, Peter Lindbergh, gives birth to a unique campaign that will be presented by Silhouette from March 10, 2013.

With the presentation of the “Titan Minimal Art – The Icon”, Silhouette launches a long-term campaign with the slogan “An Icon for an Icon”. This theme is centered around icons that represent a lifestyle of innovation and lightness. The “Titan Minimal Art – The Icon” is an eyewear made to measure for Patrick Dempsey, who is considered one of the “sexiest men alive”. “Patrick Dempsey’s personality won us over, and it will certainly do the same for our fans. Patrick’s “Lite Moment”
Patrick Dempsey has two great passions. The first is racing cars. A well-known racing driver, he owns the “Dempsey/Del Piero Racing” team with former soccer champion Alessandro Del Piero. He has been practicing his second passion since the age of thirteen: juggling. His love of racing cars and juggling is no secret. So one of the special features of this campaign is the chance to see Patrick Dempsey practicing his two passions: as a skilled driver behind the wheel of a racing car, and as a talented juggler. “It’s important for us to represent Patrick Dempsey in situations where he’s himself, where he’s not playing a role and, of course, where he’s wearing optical or sunglasses”, confides Christian Hafner, Brand Director at Silhouette, also announcing the continuation of this campaign with other icons.
Lindbergh for Silhouette
The language of the images is natural, credible and authentic. This is where another icon comes into play: Peter Lindbergh, creator of extraordinary images. No one is as gifted as he is when it comes to immortalizing emotion and intimacy while bringing out the personality of the subject. “Peter is a legend, and not just as a photographer. Working with him was extraordinary, really great!” exclaims Patrick Dempsey, very enthusiastic about his collaboration with the photographer. Peter Lindbergh, who has already had the pleasure of working with stars such as Catherine Deneuve, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlotte Rampling, Nastassja Kinski, Tina Turner, Madonna, Sharon Stone, John Malkovich, Julianne Moore and Kate Winslet, photographed Patrick Dempsey in the city where Hollywood stars live: Los Angeles. He is immortalized in the famous black and white of Peter Lindbergh’s work.
