Each x Other and Robert Montgomery at Colette

An exhibition by Robert Montgomery, the launch of the bi-annual magazine Each X Other and the presentation of a unique tee-shirt are all coming soon to Colette.

For more than a month, Colette will host a special program proposed by Each X Other and Robert Montgomery, to mark the launch of “Les Multiples d’Artistes” published by Each X Other.

Discover at Colette, a monographic exhibition of Robert Montgomery and all his Multiples. These Editions d’Art – all signed and numbered – are six in number: an aluminum cast, a woodcut, two light works, a litograph and a photograph. In the store’s window, a never-before-seen version of the luminous work “The Slox Disappearance of Meaning and Truth” will be on display from June 15 to 29. The 2014 Men’s and Women’s Pre-Collection inspired by the work of Robert Montgomery, a unique T-shirt and the bi-annual magazine Each X Other, launched on June 26, will also be unveiled.

British artist Robert Montgomery works with words;

Using a guerrilla technique, his works-poems take over public spaces in monumental light installations, set alight in nocturnal performances, or scattered around advertising spaces. Robert Montgomery’s work often touches on the history of cities and places, he is interested in their lyrical and democratic potential, and keeps as a reference the idea of the City as collective property.

For this exhibition at Colette, the artist proposes an original work inspired by a particular event in the history of art – and Courbet’s life – which took place just a few meters from 213 rue Saint-Honoré.

Each X Other is a French brand whose “Art Meet Fashion” concept democratizes art through fashion, making it accessible to a wider public. The result is a contemporary androgynous wardrobe, the fruit of numerous collaborations with international artists. At the same time, the Each x Other publishing house and cultural platform publishes Multiples d’Artistes, design objects, art books and organizes exhibitions.
